Service Description
The Daydream Session is my most immersive commission experience. We begin by spending intentional time together in a place, activity, or environment that feels meaningful to you. We might share coffee, walk a favorite trail, visit your home or studio, explore a meaningful location, or simply spend time in conversation. Following our time together, I dedicate one full week exclusively to your painting. During this creative immersion, I translate the experience through color, texture, composition, and intuition, creating an original work that reflects the essence of our shared experience. Travel, lodging, shipping, admission fees, or other project-related expenses are separate from the commission investment and are the responsibility of the client when applicable.
Cancellation Policy
Deposits A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to reserve your commission and creative timeline. Payment The remaining balance is due before delivery or shipment of the completed artwork. Timelines Estimated timelines begin once the consultation and deposit have been completed. While I work thoughtfully to meet these timelines, each painting develops through an intentional creative process. Should additional time be needed, I will keep you informed throughout the project. Creative Process Every painting is an original work of art interpreted through my artistic practice. While your ideas and inspiration help shape the commission, artistic decisions including composition, color relationships, texture, and mark-making remain part of my creative process. Revisions Our consultation is designed to establish a shared vision before painting begins. Minor adjustments may be possible during the early stages, but significant revisions are not available once the painting has progressed. Daydream Sessions A Daydream Session includes one scheduled shared experience followed by one dedicated week of studio creation. Extended experiences or multi-day projects may be quoted separately. Travel Travel, lodging, parking, admission fees, shipping, and other project-related expenses are not included in the artwork investment and will be discussed prior to booking. Shipping & Delivery Shipping, insurance, and delivery costs are calculated separately unless otherwise agreed upon. Cancellations Deposits are non-refundable. If a commission is canceled after work has begun, payment may be required for work completed up to that point. Copyright Artist ASHLi retains the copyright to all original artwork unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Collectors are welcome to display and enjoy their artwork but may not reproduce it for commercial purposes without written permission. Documentation Unless requested otherwise, I may photograph or document the creative process and completed artwork for my portfolio, website, exhibitions, and social media. If privacy is important to your commission, please let me know before we begin.
